Product Description Bonus episodes: three little piggies lost and found nickelodeon parent guide Studio: Paramount Home Video Release Date: 09/30/2008 Rating: Nr
Amazon.com Little Map displays big acting chops in Dora the Explorer: Map Adventures, in which two fun-filled episodes encourage preschoolers to think, make educated choices, and shout answers to their animated buddies. As all Dora fans know, Map plays a key role in helping Dora and her young audience reach various destinations. So when a huge bird nabs Map and heads skyward, Dora must tap her own creativity and thinking powers to retrieve him. Our cheerful heroine and her monkey friend Boots maneuver through lush scenery, asking viewers to spot the right paths, choose helpful tools from Backpack, and yell "saltar!" (jump) to help her friends avoid danger. They find Map atop Tallest Mountain, only to be stranded themselves in episode two. Luckily, Map turns superhero and guides his pals to safety, via another set of delightfully puzzling obstacles. Each satisfying 25-minute adventure invites plenty of dancing, clapping, problem solving, and laughter. --Liane Thomas

Annoyingly good! November 28, 2008 jordansbaba First of all, I think Dora is a good female cartoon character for my daughter to look up to. Having said that, that little girl ANNOYS THE CRAP out of me! My daughter is completely and utterly fascinated with her immediately after watching this DVD rental from our library. She sings the map song all day and "we did it" song too. We watch it every OTHER day (for my sanity) but she would like to watch it 5 times daily if I let her. She has learned a few spanish words while watching-rojo, amarillo, and salta (of course!). Buy the dvd, but be forewarned--you too just might be humming the Dora theme song while driving to work too!
Dora the Explorer - Map Adventures September 19, 2008 J. Moore (Nashville, TN) Like all Dora's video, this is another hit. My daughter loves the map, specially because here he is the heroe.

My girls love it January 29, 2006 S. Landen (Houston, TX) My daughters, ages 2 and 4, love Dora so they naturally love to watch this DVD. I like how there are 4 episodes to choose from, so I don't get tired of it so easy. It's very engaging and teaches reasoning, patterns, colors, and Spanish.
