I guess they used to make this large Elmo with hard, plastic eyes.
But the eyes are now soft and made out of fabric! In fact, the whole Elmo doll is soft and cuddly.
It doesn't have "twisty fur", like other Elmo dolls... the "skin" is quite smooth and soft.
This doll is perfect if your kids would like to hug Elmo, and it is about the size of a 20-month year old child.

My daughter (19 months)has been gaa gaa over Elmo since she first discovered him on her diaper. When I found this plush Elmo I had to get it for her. She's slept with it and diapered it and carried it around the house since it came out of the box. So it's not fuzzy like the real Elmo, but that doesn't matter to her. I love watching her tote him around since he's almost as big as she is... : ) I would definitely recommend him!

I purchased this product for my grandson's 2nd birthday. HE WAS SO HAPPY WITH IT ,HE SITS IN A CHAIR AND THEY WATCH TV .He SHARES HIS FOOD WITH ELMO ,at BEDTIME HE SLEEPS WITH THIS FRIEND,this WAS ONE OF THE TIMES WHEN YOU KNOW THE MONEY WAS WELL SPENT.

The doll is excellent quality and arrived quickly. The eyes are soft so your little one won't be hurt. The only thing I would rather is if it was fuzzy like Elmo instead of a soft felt like material. My daughter absolutely loves him though and wrestles on the floor with him. Excellent doll for a great price.

My Kid love it when elmo arrived at our door. But, package did not arrived until 29 days after i ordered, no good. I will not use this services from this shop where they sent from.
