Product Description Studio: Buena Vista Home Video Release Date: 09/05/2006
Amazon.com Disney once again plunders the delightful Winnie-the-Pooh books for an animated movie, this one centered around the wee and insecure Piglet. Feeling unappreciated by his friends, Piglet wanders off into the Hundred Acre Wood; in his absence, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Rabbit reminisce about various adventures (including when Kanga and her baby Roo first arrived in their midst, and building a house for Eeyore) and begin to recognize Piglet's crucial contribution to their lives. Unfortunately for moviegoers, the gentle but sly whimsy of A.A. Milne's books has been turned into pure saccharine, which isn't helped by mediocre animation and appallingly bland songs (by Carly Simon, of all people). Even the most Pooh-worshipping kids are likely to find Piglet's Big Movie to be pretty small potatoes. --Bret Fetzer

Piglet's BIG movie - a BIG hit July 22, 2008 J. E. Sage (Adelaide, SA, Australia) This is a great movie for kids. Our 3.5yr and 22 month old take great delight in watching this over and over again! The great news is, the adults are not yet tired of it. The story is entertaining, the music and songs are delightful and compared to other Pooh movies, it is by far the most engaging and well produced. It is a firm family favourite and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely movie, with good humour, great animation, brilliant music. Buy it and push play!
piglet January 19, 2008 Lynette Meintz (Oconomowoc,WI usa) Gave it as a christmas present. My niece really love pooh and his pals!
Love this movie! December 9, 2007 kswarren (Rochester, NY) I have to say, there are very few children's movies I like to watch over and over - but I would watch this on any given day. Not only am I a big fan, but so are all three of my children and even my husband! This movie has a great message and a great soundtrack. I highly recommend this to any family looking for a good quality family movie.
Love it! December 8, 2007 mokitree (East Bay, CA) My 2 year old daughter loves this movie and I've been enjoying it too. I like that the movie has a more modern feel, but the animation doesn't feel too, "digital" like some of the more modern Pooh movies I've seen. Carley Simon's songs fit nicely as well.
Excellent Disney Movie! November 5, 2007 Amos Ortiz When we first viewed this movie at home, I decided to put it away for a few months because my then 4-year-old cried because Piglet's memory book fell in the river. Aside from that one incident, my kinds love to watch this movie over and over again. Disney does it again; another excellent movie.
