Amazon.com Pooh's Heffalump Movie introduces a lovable new character to the Hundred Acre Wood. When mysterious noises spook Pooh, Piglet, and the others, Rabbit explains that everyone will have to band together to track down the dreaded Heffalump. Well, everyone, that is, except Roo, who's too small for the task. Not surprisingly, it's Roo who makes first contact, and he quickly finds out that first impressions aren't always true. You can see the Big Messages coming from a mile off (Xenophobia is bad! Don't underestimate little kids!), and one moment of mischief curiously passes without even requiring an apology. But kids will be charmed by the Heffalump and may even connect with the empowerment/maturity themes. Among the voice cast, Jim Cummings does knockout impressions of Sterling Holloway and Paul Winchell as the voices of Pooh and Tigger, respectively, and Carly Simon's songs are at their best when she sings them herself. --David Horiuchi

Precious story! November 2, 2008 J. Hammond (Wake Forest, NC) My 3 year old loves this movie. I have to admit my husband and I like watching it too. The friend ship between Roo and Lumpy is precious. This is a very sweet movie with a good message.
A great movie for Toddlers June 23, 2008 Debra Davis (Houston Texas) I had not see this movie in a long time... and honestly the only reason I watch this movie is because this is my 2 yr old nieces favorite movie... When they went to England they lost her only copy of the movie... so she cried and cried for her movie.. When I mad the first purchase of the movie I only bought to replace her lost one... and it was her birthday... I pulled this Heffalump Movie out.... She covered her mouth squealed, jumped up and down and started yelling Heffalump... After that reaction I cam back on and purchased 2 more... One for her Papa & Nena house and one for mine... she has Heffalump where ever she goes...
perfect for a two years old May 9, 2008 Anne (Boston MA) My daughter loves it. I do too because of the message it brings to learn about differences. Very well done.
Sweet favorite for toddlers March 25, 2008 Brian Hathaway (Chicago) My daughter (2-1/2) fell in love with this movie the first time she watched it. It is entertaining, light-hearted and touching. This will be a family favorite for a long time.

If you have little Pooh addicts living in your house, this is the movie for you. This movie has become our go-to when all other measures fail. The songs are really well-written. My 15 month old and 30 month old both love it. My 30 month old runs around the house "capstures"-ing people. The story is a really good allegory. Highly recommend.
