Editorial Review If a troll looking like this jumped out from under a bridge, she wouldn't scare anyone! A cross between the fashionista Bratz dolls and the crazy-haired troll dolls from the `60s, these Trollz are a lot more fashion-conscious than their predecessors. This stylin' troll is 14-year-old Sapphire Trollzawa, one of five troll friends heralding from Trollzopolis. The genius of the group, Sapphire is into dance music and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and sports a towering electric blue beehive `do above her fringy bangs. A flower-shaped sapphire belly ringher namesake gempeeks out between her cropped blue sweater and miniskirt and supposedly has magical powers. A second poncho and cropped jeans outfit with a matching purse is included for a quick style update and a cell phone lets her reach her other gal pals in a jiffy. There is also a comb and several hair accessories so girls can try to tame Sapphire's wild mane. Sapphire is articulated at the arms, waist, and neck and her feet remove completely in order to change shoes or get her dressed. --Cristina Vaamonde

A Good Example December 6, 2005 Michaela Fischer (Melbourne, AUS) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I recently recieved a Saphire Troll from a friend as a gift, and I think Trolls are very cute, and they send out the right message to girls. That it's good to study, its okay to be different, being nice is important .etc and their appearance branches out from the normal stick figure barbie doll or lyposuction gone to far Bratz doll..and in no way are they ugly or wrong. The television show is also really cute, the only problem I can think of is, they can be a bit fragile, and you should be carefull with younger children, because it's head might pop off...

Hello, my name is Alexandra Marie Anne Bunitorisua and i am reviewing Trollz. I think that this doll is very ugly and wrong. What are toys trying to teach children these days?!? That it is fine to graduate schools? Girls should stay home and help their mothers until they are four teen, and then they get married and have children at fifteen. These dolls are very bad for young girls because they make it seem like girls can particapate in sports, which they cannot. That is my opinion and i hope you follow by it. its true.
ugly and disapointing October 30, 2005 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I think these dolls oh i mean "trollz" are in my oppinion not that flattering. When i was younger (im 13 now) i liked to play with the original barbie dolls that come with pleasant houses and cute little familys. These dolls are very ugly and i have heard their durability is really bad (hair falls out, head falls off alot) i just dont think it is that good of a toy. It also influences young girls to wear inappropriate clothing like belly shirts and short skirts and things like that. But this is all just my opinion and they arent very good ones..
how much fun a troll doll is................ October 21, 2005 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
